Oh the saga of my marriage.  A beautiful, innocent love story turned scandalous, bitter, broken, and utterly ravaged by war, infidelity, pornography, financial irresponsibility, anger, countless catastrophes and the devastating loss of a child.  From the outside we are the perfect couple. Good looking, middle class, beautiful healthy children, gorgeous home with the iron fence, in the corner lot and with the huge pool. Each young and each talented in their own right. Oh, and we love Jesus and go to church.  I don’t think anyone who doesn’t know us personally can ever fathom what we have been through, and even they do not truly know the depth of our pain and brokenness nor the impossibility of our relationship.  We are the sum of our experiences together as a couple, and our lives before we ever met.  Every story in upcoming posts is a broken piece of our relationship that makes us who we are.  My hope is that chronicling our love story will glue the little broken pieces of our journey together and reveal the beauty in all of the suffering and glory and revealing God’s strange and masterful handiwork.  Perhaps bringing us some healing and even some peace and inspiring others to reflect on their own life and keep striving for victory and healing in their own marriages?  I don’t exactly. I just want to tell my story. The story of my life and the incredible things I have experienced and starting with my precious marriage.  I tell you, it is a miracle we are still married, and I have to believe, that all of it is for a purpose I have yet to embrace.
